Available Roles

Fibre Splicer

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit Fibre splicers / jointers to work on our Openreach contracts.

What will your key responsibilities be:

  • Jointing fibre optic cable in the underground and overhead network
  • Being able to understand and follow fibre allocations
  • Strapping and labelling to Openreach standards
  • Collecting data on company tablets for as-build documents
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients

Desirable Qualifications / Requirements:

  • N023 - One Fibre Network FTTP Strategic UG and OH Build
  • Previous experience on Openreach fibre splicing methods and FNCs
  • NRSWA Street works accreditation (Training can be provided)
  • Openreach accreditation SA001, SA002 (Training can be provided)
  • MEWP accreditation (Training can be provided)
  • Experience working with schematics and duct diagrams
  • Confident working at heights and in the underground network
  • UK driving licence

Experience desirable but not essential – Full training can be given to the right candidate!

FTTP Build Operative

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit Build Operatives to work on our Openreach contracts.

What will your key responsibilities be:

  • Installing fibre optic cable in the underground and overhead network
  • Installing equipment (Joint closures / CBTs etc) suitable to be followed by our splicing team
  • Strapping and labelling to Openreach standards
  • Collecting data on company tablets for as-build documents
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients

Desirable Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Previous knowledge of FTTP network build
  • NRSWA Street works accreditation (Training can be provided)
  • Openreach PIA accreditation (Training can be provided)
  • MEWP accreditation (Training can be provided)
  • Experience working with schematics and duct diagrams
  • Confident working at heights and in the underground network
  • UK driving licence

Civils Operative

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit Build Operatives to work on our Openreach contracts.

Under the supervision of the team lead, applicants will be required to perform excavations, repairs and reinstatement in the public highways, installation of ducting, chambers and street cabinets on telecoms infrastructure. Full training given to the right candidate.

What will your key responsibilities be:

  • Provide new installation of duct, chambers, cabinets and associated equipment.
  • Clear duct blockages in soft / footway / carriageway surfaces and reinstate to industry standard
  • Be competent in the use of Stihl Saws / Wacker plates / trench compactor / mini digger / jack hammer and hold the correct certification to complete the works
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients

Desirable Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 360 Mini Digger ticket (CPCS or NPORS)
  • Streetworks
  • Cat and Genny
  • NOPS card
  • UK driving licence
